Description
Part number W10823717 is a Whirlpool surface element replacement. A surface element is the heating coil or element that heats cookware on the cooktop. Signs such as an element that does not heat, heats unevenly or shows visible damage may point to this part, but the infinite switch, the terminal block or wiring can cause similar problems. Elements come in different sizes and ratings, so confirm the exact part number for your model.
