Description
Part number W10696522 is a Whirlpool control knob replacement. A control knob lets you turn the switch, valve or selector behind it to choose a setting. Signs such as a knob that slips, spins freely, is cracked or no longer stays on its shaft may point to this part, but a worn shaft on the switch or valve behind the knob can cause similar problems. Knob styles, finishes and shaft shapes differ, so compare the part number and your model.
